Stolen Goods.

This week while inspecting my veggie patch, I noticed that some soil had fallen from a pot... which I had used to plant some big zucchini seeds in. I put the soil back and quickly dug around looking for the 5 seeds I placed there the day before. To my shock all 5 big seeds had gone. Something had stolen my seeds.

I believed that the culprit may be some local birds. We have a lot of birds and parrots that enter our garden, but our dog normally chases them away if they land on the ground. My veggie patch is fenced off so my dog can not go in there, maybe that could of helped the birds feed with ease.

Anyway, I planted some more seeds, and this time I kept the pot near my house, under close watch and in area where our dog roams/patrols.

I didn't realise that fresh seeds need protection, and just planting and then leaving could be dangerous. Just like with people beginning to familiarise them selves with God and His Word, we must protect these until they have surfaced and show signs of growth... just like my seeds. Protect the seeds - do not let the birds come and eat them.

Blessings,

Akita.

some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up."

and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away
