Hi, Akita here - trust you are having a great week and smiling.

A Consistent + Commitment Dog.

Our dog is very excited and nosey. If anyone walks past our home she runs down the side of the house to the picket fence to peep through to see the "offenders" and often bark at them or closely watch them as they walk past our property. She has been doing this for a long time yet doesn't seem to tier from the activity.

While walking around my garden this week I noticed that the side of the house needs to be mowed as the grass is around 20cm high. That is when I noticed that there was path through the overgrown lawn that leads right to the picket fence where the dog spies from... our dog had made/worn down a path. Her path was very noticeable as all the rest of the grassed area is so high.

This suprised me as she only has paws the size of a 50 cent coin, yet has created a flat path leading down the full length of the house. By her constantly traveling down that route she has somehow made an impact. Her tiny paws constantly treading in the same area has created something.

This path would not be there if she had gone all over the place, and drifted from her route... she must of had to keep to her track all the time to maintain such an impression. Could be a message in there for us...... but I still have to mow the lawn.

Being committed or consistent at something (activity/skill/quality/behaviour) can make a greater impact... than a one off attempt. If you arrive on time once... that doesn't make you reliable.... consistency matters... it has a greater impact.

Blessings,

Akita.

Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant,
