Renovations.

This week we have had workmen in our home replacing our old kitchen ceiling. The ceiling was full of cracks, bowing at the centre, and about to collapse.

Some people wait until things totally collapse and on the floor before they replace it ... but I am trying to learn to be proactive. So we booked in some workers to do the deed. It may be clever to plan ahead...but just as messy.

Well....there is so much mess at the moment, as I type. You never know how much you use a kitchen until it becomes out-of-bounds for a few days... aughhhh. There is mess/cost involved in improving/growing/renovating... but if you are not willing to try, you may be left at the first stage/level.

Growth hurts, it stretches you, it can be painful/difficult but it is the end product we are focusing on here... not being content to stay the same, but to improve where we can and work through the stages and mess rather than avoiding things that could be inconvenient.

The path of least resistance is the path most traveled on. When you find yourself surrounded by mess, take a breath and understand that we are still under-construction. Progressive mess is positive... and you need to break some eggs in order to make an omelette.

Growing with you,

Akita.
