Computers.
This week we have had a disaster at home... our computer died. The machine
was unable to be fixed and so all my precious data, photos, files, information..
are all gone. So much time and effort invested into my computer. In an
instant all the work went and gone for good. Ouch.
Since it happened I have been reminded that it is not wise to invest in
worldly treasures/items that can only ever last for a certain time.
Eternal investments are of course the best. You may not be able to see
the results/treasures here... but the more important things often don't
appear to be the most important/urgent.
2 Corinthians 4 v 18: So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,
but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen
is eternal.
Belongings can be lost/stolen but treasure in heaven can not!
Blessings,
Akita.

Matthew 6 v 19-21
"Do not store up for yourselves
treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where moth and rust do not destroy,
and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
