Snow Peas.

A couple of months a go I planted some Snow Pea seedlings, around the mesh fence of my veggie patch. I have been waiting for the plants to grow... which is a process. To be honest it is not the growth I am looking forward to, it is the fruit itself... I am longing to see the fruit/vegatable and harvest it.

I was thinking about this and working out what was it that I am looking for. I orginally thought it was growth, then I though ultimately it was the fruit... something that caught my eye this week was the first white flowers.

My snow pea plants have grown well, hanging on tight to the framework provided and growing in strength and size.... but no fruit will come unless it blossoms. This took my breath away.

With plants... it can not produce fruit until it is mature and blossoming.

Blessings,

Akita.

Title5

Ephesians 3 v 11-16

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets,
some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking in the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
