There Is More - part two.
Last week we talked about missing out on stuff... this is about what you
may be missing out on, right before your very own eyes.
This week I got some new glasses. My vision has been gradually
deteriorating and I have been aware that I have been struggling with seeing
all things - especially things that are not in front of my face.
I should of got new glasses a long time ago but seemed okay to just make
do with what I currently had. I knew my vision was limited but felt that
it was okay to continue for a while longer. Anyway I finally bit the bullet,
had an eye test and ordered a new set. They arrived during the week.
One Wednesday night I got out my new glasses to wear as I was going to
drive to a friend's home. I put them on and drove down the road. To my
extreme delight everything I looked at become 3D and full of bright colour.
I saw bright road signs, and could read all the wording from afar. I could
see further down the straight road than I had ever thought possible.
Things were so clear and bright it was amazing and felt I was in a new
world. I guess my previous world (that I was happy to continue with for
a long time) was flatter, duller, blurry, and was very limited. With my
new glasses/focus I am shocked that I had settled for less. There is so
much more. I should have pushed through earlier for the maximum... for
what is available. Different things can block us from a fuller vision/life/spiritual
journey..etc... the trick is to make sure you have a focus that is correct
and does not limit your vision, or limit God.
I had no idea how much I was really missing out on. The clarity, depth,
and signs... were all previously hidden to me. Not any longer.
Get the right focus - because there is more!
Blessings,
Akita.

Ephesians 1 v 18-21
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened
in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you,
the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
That power is like the working of his mighty strength,
which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead
and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,
far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,
and every title that can be given,
not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
