Water Escaping.
Today I decided to do some house cleaning. When I have cleaning days like this, I tend to do a few things at the same time, and that way get it all done quicker. One thing I did today was I filled up my kitchen sink with hot soapy water and placed some dirty dishes in the sink, and went off to do another task, planning to come back to wash all the dishes.
I was only gone 5 minutes and once I returned I found half of my water in the sink had gone. I put my hand in the sink to check if the plug was sitting in the hole properly,
and found that there were a few grains of sand in the plug hole blocking the plug from fitting the edges of the hole perfectly.
We have an old-fashioned metal sink basin with a metal plug which fits exactly into the plug hole. Just one or two small grains of sand/dirt ensured that the plug did not fit correctly and so it couldn't do the job it was designed to do.
I was so amazed that a few bits of dirt could do that. The dirt was so tiny, how could something so small make a big impact?
I ended up removing the sand, replacing the plug, and then replaced the water lost. I had to do all the replacement because I had not removed the dirt at the beginning.
If you ever feel tired of re-doing things or going over things all the time, then maybe have a look to see if things are working properly, and if needed remove any dirt or rubbish blocking the way.
Blessings,
Akita.

Hebrew 10 v 22-24
....let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and
having our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess,
for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may
spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
