Open Or Not.

The other day I was talking on the phone with someone who normally doesn't make any sense and I was thinking very hard how to end the conversation quickly. Feeling guilty and convicted I decided to just listen to what the person was saying and sometime soon the conversation will naturally end.

Well I was pleased that I had not ended the chat prematurely as out of nowhere this person said something that really connected with me and actually made sense.. "a gem". I was so suprised about the gem they gave me, I didn't feel that they could of said anything "outstanding" but there it was - I was wrong. It made me realise that if you are open, you will find something, you will learn.

Sometimes you can get something great from the person you would of least expected it.
Often you can not know fully what it is you may get from a person/situation/experience as it takes time and is often disguised or covered up - like a Christmas gift. You have to untie and unwrap a gift before you get to play with it or see exactly what it is or does.

Blessings,

Akita.

James 1 v 19

...Everyone should be quick to listen,
slow to speak and slow to become angry,
for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.
