Going Somewhere?

Today I parked my car in town and went shopping to search for two suitcases. I had some success and ended up with two brightly coloured suitcases that certainly will stand out in the airport luggage terminals.

After I purchased the cases I then realised that I had to carry both cases all the way through town back to my car. Walking down the main street I knew people were no doubt watching me, but I did not feel embarrassed nor unhappy. In fact... I felt a strong sense of purpose....... destiny!

It may have looked funny, but it felt good. I knew why I was carrying the cases I knew where I am planning to go, I felt that I knew where I was destined - and that felt amazing.

How good it is that although we don't know everything, we do know that we have purpose and a destiny ... in God. Some things I am unsure about, but there are some more important things that I do know where I am going + heading, and this confidence is priceless. Walking around in cloud 9.
