The Smell of Pizza .

Last week I drove to the pizza shop to buy a pizza for dinner. Thankfully I just live around the corner so it only took me two or three minutes to drive there and back.

The next day I got into my car to drive to work and all I could smell was pizza. The following day I was in my car and again I could smell pizza, in fact for a full week the lingering smell of pizza was in my car... even though the food itself was only in my vehicle for 3 minutes.

It amazed me that in such a quick period of time my car could be affected and the odour could attach itself to the interior of my car.

I suppose that just because we only host something for a short time, that doesn't means that it can not have an impact. Just like the pizza, hosting or entertaining a simple thought, can make an impact in your life. Thoughts, especially negative ones, once entered into your mind even for the briefest moment could leave a bad odour that can linger.

Try not to allow your mind to focus on negative thoughts, even if you think a few minutes wont make a difference. Seeds are one of the smallest things yet if they are let to grow can become extremely large.
