Hi, Akita here - keep smiling.

Changes.

Went food shopping today, but instead of going to the usual store I did my grocery shopping at a centre I had never shopped before.

I was keen to shop at this new place... but once walking around I found it tricky as they didn't have things in the spots I was expecting. Some food items were in weird spots.

While I was freaking out I realised that they didn't have items in weird spots...it is just they weren't where my regular shop has them. The layouts of the shops were very different. How we tend to favour familiarity compared to knew situations.

Guess that when we want growth/movement or when movement happens to us; we should also expect that there will be some new things... some different challenges. If everything remains the same then there is no growth and in fact things become stale.

While moving on we must understand that things wont be exactly the same... and that is ok... with time and understanding we too will become accustomed to the new place and then no doubt it may be time to grow and move somewhere else.

ROC 11+ - Next ROC 11+ activity will be Q+As @ G+As on Sunday the 29th of October .... yes ... this Sunday night. Bring some food, friends, questions, and praise points.

Team Wars - THIS Friday the 27th of October we will be challenging the CCC Youth with Team Wars. Battles, comps, + dress ups! Dress theme: Make your own super hero costume. There will be prizes!! Held @ CCC from 7-9pm. (1 Rose St)

Youth Alive: Summer Fest, with REGGIES DABBS. Venue: Warnbro Church Of Christ, 85 Warnbro Sound Ave, Warnbro. Monday night: 7-9pm, tickets $8 at the door. Grab a car today with some friends... or ask your parents nicely to drive you there with your friends... it will be a great night!

Oxygen - Next event will be on Saturday the 4th November, held at Bunbury Vineyard Church, opp Old Silos, pre-show 4-6pm, then a $2 sausage sizzle, then the main-show 7:30pm-9:30pm. Harvey Evening Service - If you are free on Sunday night (5th Nov) why not drive to Harvey Church Of Christ and join them for their monthly evening service. It is truely a blast and they will be thrilled to have you. Take money to buy dinner with them after the service. 151 Uduc Rd(main street), Harvey. Starts @ 6:30pm.

praise Him praise Him: Today we had confirmation that we were successful in recieving a $3,000 grant from the Bunbury Recreation Entertainment Centre, for the Oxygen March music/rally planned. Thank you Lord..... with providing us favour, and assisting us since we took a step of faith + action.... you are amazing!

praise point: Man, camp was awesome. Thanks for the prayer! There were many healings, commitments, break-throughs, prophetic words, + more. Wonderful time with great: guest speaker, activities, worship, fellowship, teachings...etc Thank you all who served, attended, and those who covered it with prayer.

prayer request: for protection + financial support for a local youth named Joanne. Jo feels called to attend and serve in an upcoming YWAM mission. She has asked for prayer for safety as well as assistance financially, for the Summer of Service mission to Thailand in January 2007, with YWAM. If you would like further info on this please email myself. Thanks.

prayer: for the huge salvation rally planned for young people in March 2007.

prayer: for all the local school Chaplains out there doing His business.
