Hi, Akita here - have you got plans to get out of the house this weekend?

Sticking It Through.

Just come back from doing the weekly food shopping. Bit of a chore but has to be done. I was impressed with myself when it came time to finish as I have been working on an area of my character that I felt need refining: "unwavering/solid/endurance/patience", and have been using the shopping teller experience as a training base.

I have found it hard in the past to make a choice about which teller I will queue up in and remain. I am not silly, I do have a good glance at my options and decide which check out line would be best suited to me + then once I chose I moved my trolley to that zone and waited until it was my turn. I was pleased that I stayed still and didn't change. I was determine to stick it through and stay with the one.

A month ago I had a bad experience: I chose a teller and then half way through I realised I had chosen a dud, so I moved my trolley to a different check out, only to find the teller there was closing for a break, so back to a different one only to find the conveyer-belt was broken and it was going to take ages to do the full load, swapping and changing eventually I ended up at the first teller I was at, but of course a few customers behind where I had originally started from - how annoying.

It was then, at that moment that I decided to stick with my decisions/determined to patiently endure things, for my own growth.... stick with the issues and sort them out, see them through rather than switching one to another like a leaf tossed in the wind landing wherever and no real grounding or assurance of anything. Patience is a tricky thing. It got to a point with me that I was tired of the indecision and sometimes never seeing through a difficult situation or time. So my latest mission is to make sure I always finish what I start, no excuses!

I would rather finish 2 minutes behind someone, then not finish at all....good to stick through things even when you have been given a bad deal or slow teller.

Blessings,

Akita.
