Hi, Akita here - I love the end of the year because there is a new one waiting to begin.

Reproducing too.

Last week we looked at reproducing and investing in our young people. I hope to remind others that younger crew should also be looking at reproducing. If we multiply but the next layer doesn't multiply then the whole thing will one day die off.... we must actively do + model reproduction.

We should be encouraging our youth to also reproduce/mentor. We could share some wisdom with a young adult + then say "now you understand this, who are you going to share it with"... learn and then share, learn and then share.

They don't need to be 40 years old to mentor/encourage someone... many youth have close friends, younger brothers + sisters. You don't need to look too far to find someone to encourage, strengthen, and share with.

I love the concept of reproduction with spiritual mentoring or leadership. Growing with others beside you... sewing into their lives. I don't want to keep things to myself and be alone, being alone is not good.

Come on young people, starting thinking of who you could encourage/influence where you are, in your daily life. For a younger youth to be acknowledge by you is such a blast for them... you have so many possibilities to speak into their lives. Just as Star Wars Jedi's have apprentices so should we, we have Jesus in us and should be raising up the next soldiers. They admire + look up to you.... use that for good.

BV Youth - Term 4 is nearly finished, so make sure you attend the last few official events. During the summer holidays we will take a break from regular events... so watch this space + read your church bulletin for upcoming get-togethers.

ROC 11+ - Next ROC 11+ activity on Sunday the 10th of December. Bring some food, friends, questions, and praise points. Don't forget that it is back at the Olsen's home.

Prayer - every Sunday afternoon, 5-6pm @ church.

Oxygen - Next event will be on THIS Saturday the 2nd of December. Held @ Grace. Time: 7:30pm-9:30pm. www.oxygenyouth.com. Prayer will start at 6:30pm.

Car Rally - NEXT FRIDAY: 8th Dec, starting @ Bunbury Vineyard carpark + ending at a mystery place for bbq, very social, all welcome to attend this youth ... so don't miss it!!!! Come along. Starting @ 6pm and finishing @ 9pm .... @ For all aged youth! Wait for further instructions!

prayer: for the team from Oxygen going to Tanzania in Feb 2007. Prayer for safety, funds, opportunities, effectiveness...etc.

praise Him praise Him: Last month we had confirmation that we were successful in receiving a $3,000 grant from the Bunbury Recreation Entertainment Centre, for the Oxygen March music/rally planned. Thank you Lord..... with providing us favour, and assisting us since we took a step of faith + action.... you are amazing!

prayer request: for protection + financial support for a local youth named Joanne. Jo feels called to attend and serve in an upcoming YWAM mission. She has asked for prayer for safety as well as assistance financially, for the Summer of Service mission to Thailand in January 2007, with YWAM. If you would like further info on this please email myself. Thanks.

prayer: for the huge Battle of the Bands rally planned for Bunbury young people in March 2007. Prayer for the working team of this project. Prayer for acceptance into local high schools, tafes, and local uni. Prayer for sponsors to respond positively to requests.

Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that can not be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us..
